Lineup 2023

Disarmageddon is a thrash metal band hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. The band was formed in early 2016 with the intention of reviving old school thrash metal in the local heavy metal scene. After gigging extensively shortly after their formation, the band released their ‘Contagion Demo’ in March 2017.

By mid-2018, the band then recorded some of the material which was meant to be on their debut album, which eventually saw the light of day as the ‘Detonator’ EP, released in October 2021 and was well received locally and internationally. Earlier that year, the band decided to go on an indefinite hiatus and ‘Detonator’ was released posthumously. 

Disarmageddon are back once more to bring pure old school thrash metal to the masses and will be unleashing a brand new album with a new lineup.
